Getting Help


If you need more help with your eLearning courses please follow these general guidelines for seeking help.

When to visit the TechHub

For technical support during TechHub operational hours:

Located on the main floor of Cannell Library.  See the TechHub website for current hours and contact information.


When to file an eLearning support ticket

Online support for technical issues with Canvas.  File a ticket 24/7/365:

  • Canvas tickets are created by clicking Help and Report a Problem on the Canvas website


When to contact your instructor

Course-specific questions such as:

  • finding assignments/content

  • submitting coursework

  • coursework clarification

  • late submissions/extensions

    (both tests and assignments)

  • retaking tests

  • course-related software other than Canvas

    (i.e. MyMathLab, SAM, etc)

NOTE: For issues with course-related software or websites you may need to contact the company's technical support


When to contact the eLearning office

For general eLearning questions such as:

  • eLearning programs and degrees

  • eLearning course offerings

  • face-to-face Canvas orientations

  • waitlist procedures for online and hybrid courses
