Zoom Classroom Meetings

What is Zoom?

Zoom is conferencing software that allows instructors to host online meetings with students.  These meetings allow participants to talk with and see each other, as if you were in a classroom together.  You are not required to have a Zoom account to attend meetings, but you will need to use a computer, mobile device or telephone.  If your computer or mobile device has a camera and microphone, you'll be able to share your video and audio during the meeting.   Visit the link at the bottom of this page to learn more about the system requirements.

Some instructors will schedule sessions to use Zoom, often at a usual meeting time, just as you would attend a class in person.  Others may use Zoom for providing office hours or one-on-one support.  Zoom is easy to use.  Watch the videos below to acquaint yourself with the basics for attending a Zoom meeting...
